Details: Agra Cottage has been completely and sensitively converted from a former barn & is located in the glorious open countryside of Colsterdale, 5 miles west of the classical market town of Masham and in the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) which covers 233 square miles (603 km2) of northern England in the county of North Yorkshire. The AONB shares a common boundary with the Yorkshire Dales National Park immediately to the west. There are many historical sites nearby including medieval abbeys, castles and cathedral cities.

Accommodation: 3 double sized bedrooms full of character which extends into the roof with exposed timbers, spotlights and table lights to ensure the perfect mood. Luxurious Egyptian cotton and duck down duvets await you. The bath and shower room is fully tiled in natural limestone. Robes are also provided & can be kept warm on the large towel rail.

The ground floor has natural limestone flooring throughout. There is a fully integrated kitchen with combination oven, microwave and gas hob, washer dryer and Belfast sink. In addition there is an ancillary utility/ boot room for your use.

The living room is spacious and has views in both directions with 2 ground to ceiling height windows, Flat screen TV, Sky, broadband and telephone service are provided. A log burning stove ensures a cosy and warm environment

The dining room with it exposed internal stone work double height into the roof trusses and panoramic glazed arched window sets the scene for memorable dining throughout your stay.

Wildlife & Tranquillity: You will hear owls in the evening and see curlews and oyster catchers in the spring. You may even see the odd deer if you time your stay right. There are only 2 other neighbouring lights visible at night and these rest on the horizon. It is possible to walk 13 miles in a straight line due west without crossing a tarmac road or another house.
