This beautiful detached cottage was once a stable block and has been skilfully converted to provide holiday accommodation full of character in the sleepy hamlet of Wycliffe.
The well-equipped kitchen has a real farmhouse feel with its stone floor and large dining table. The handsome fireplace in the sitting room and the exposed beams give the room an inviting quality and with the French windows looking out over the stunning views, the room is light and airy and a fabulous place to relax. The bedrooms are a delight and offer a calm and restful haven for the end of the day, and there is a super bathroom serving the property. There is a lawn and patio outside making the cottage a wonderful base to be enjoyed all year round.
Accommodation: Two bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x twin with en-suite (shower, basin & WC). House bathroom with bath, washbasin & WC. Well equipped, spacious kitchen with dining area. Light and airy beamed sitting room with open fire and lovely views onto the surrounding countryside.
Full oil-fired central heating with additional heating from open fire in sitting room. Gas cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, colour TV, video etc. All fuel, power and initial supply of fuel for open fire inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Secure off road parking for 2 cars. Garden with lawn and patio, which opens onto the surrounding fields. Sorry, no smoking and no pets. Shop 5 miles, pub 20 minutes walk (5 mins drive).
