Details: The Bruce Arms is situated adjacent to Masham's historic market square, and is a cosy traditional Yorkshire pub offering comfortable accommodation, home cooked food, real ales and a selection of spirits, lagers and wines. A truly ideal venue for either a short break or an extended stay.

Masham (pronounced Massam), is a Yorkshire Dales market town, situated at the Eastern end of Wensleydale. There is a good selection of shops, which include antiques, arts and crafts and general provisions.

Masham is a real ale drinker’s paradise, boasting two famous breweries, Theakstons and Black Sheep which have daily tours. Masham is famous for its Steam and Organ Rally, which is held in the summer. There is easy access to nearby Fountains and Jervaulx Abbeys. There are plenty of tearooms and pubs which offer you a warm welcome.

There are plenty of galleries, in which to browse and maybe find a special gift, there is a beautiful church, some old Georgian buildings, which are a delight. Masham also offers a park, with nearby tennis courts, a golf course and the opportunity to go horse riding. Walking enthusiasts can explore the beautiful dales or stroll by the river.

Accommodation: The two spacious letting rooms on the first floor include one double, and one family room c/w three single beds. A colour TV and tea/coffee making facilities are also provided.

Dining: A full English breakfast or alternative continental choice is available each day. Home cooked food is also available each day in the bar area at both lunch time and evenings.

The beer garden has spectacular views over the River Ure and Wensleydale, seating over one hundred people, either in the open or under the new canopy.
