Details for Cocketts Hotel and Restaurant

Cocketts Hotel and Restaurant is situated in Hawes which, in turn, is in upper Wensleydale in the Yorkshire Dales. It is therefore very convenient as a base for touring the rest of the Dales.

Accommodation: The hotel has 10 letting rooms which are all en suite, fully centrally heated with thermostatic controls; each is individually styled and retains the character of the classic Yorkshire Dales Cottage; 2 of the rooms have 4-poster beds. All rooms are on the first floor, except one room on the ground floor, some have views over the valley towards Floshes Hill. All the bathrooms and shower rooms have a selection of Gilchrist & Soames toiletries.

Dining: The restaurant, which seats up to 24 people, is open to both residents and non-residents. There is an extensive wine list and the large a la carte menu offers something for everyone and a table d'hote menu is also available. Teas and coffees are also served during the day. Our chef, Paul Noble, has spent over 14 years at Cocketts and has built up an excellent reputation during that time. The proprietors are very flexible and will try to accommodate any special occasions or guests requirements. Please note that we only accept children aged 10 years and over.
