Grange House Holiday Cottage sleeps 7 people in four bedrooms with three bath/shower rooms, and was originally a farm house, built around 1890. It still retains much of the original character and charm. Located in idyllic surroundings close to the lower reaches of Buckden Pike in the lovely secluded dale of Walden, it stands in 3 acres of lush pasture with resident pet sheep, pygmy goats and hens, and has an adjacent annexe occupied by the owners. It is approximately 4 miles from the picturesque village of West Burton, where there is a village store, post office, butchers shop and pub serving food. There are further amenities and facilities and in the nearby villages of Aysgarth, West Witton and Thoralby.


Its location is an ideal base with easy access to explore the stunning scenery of the superb, unspoilt Yorkshire Dales National Park. There are numerous activities and attractions close by including, Aysgarth Falls, Hardraw Force and Semerwater. Thee busy market towns of Leyburn and Hawes, and historic Middleham with its castle are a short drive away. There is also bus service which operates on a daily basis to outlying villages.
