The village occupies a lofty position which ensures glorious views over Wensleydale and one of the best views of nearby Bolton Castle. There are several walks directly from the door, and Lake Semerwater and the famous Aysgarth Falls are close by and well worth a visit. The bustling market town of Hawes with its Wensleydale Cheese Creamery is only a short drive away, and there are numerous other activities and attractions to suit all the family.
