The Kings Arms Hotel, in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, provides 11 spacious en-suite bedrooms, each modern in design and comfortably furnished. The Kings Arms hotel is located in the town of Askrigg in Wensleydale, at the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park which spans 683 square miles of glorious countryside. It dates back to 1760, but today provides comfortable, modern en-suite holiday accommodation. The Kings Arms is familiar to many people as The Drovers, the inn that featured in the TV series All Creatures Great and Small.

The neighbouring Lodge Yard has a barbecue, washing machines and tumble driers, and small clubroom with information area, DVD library, pool table and bar billiards. On the first floor of the Kings Arms are reading and snooker rooms. Free Internet and Wi-Fi access are available.

Askrigg is Old Norse for "the ridge where ash trees grew", denoting the presence of Viking settlers. The Yorkshire Dales National Park has outstanding scenery and a rich cultural heritage. It is a superb outdoor arena, built for fun as well as peaceful respite, and a haven for a wide range of wildlife. It is an expansive area of hill country that rises to the Three Peaks.
