Directions
From A1, come off at Leeming Bar (not RAF Leeming), onto A684 to Leyburn/Hawes. Thornton Rust is 10 miles from Leyburn. At Aysgarth you will pass The George and Dragon pub on your left, road curves to left, then straightens out through village. About 100 metres along, just where the road curves down to right to Hawes, take left fork signposted Thornton Rust 2 miles. If you miss this turning, continue on until turning at Worton.
Little Nettle is situated at the east end of village, at edge of village green, down a private driveway, nearly opposite red telephone kiosk. Leads to the drive with 3 parking bays on left, see sign for 'Nettle Cottage'. Please park in the parking space nearest to the cottage. A small gate to the left leads to Little Nettle.
