Details: Treasured by its owners and family, Moorlands is a 250 year old Grade II listed sunny and spacious home set high in the tiny hamlet of Blades, a habitat of lapwings, curlews and red grouse. With magnificent views over upper Swaledale, Moorlands nestles in a sheltered hollow on open moor grazed by Swaledale sheep and cattle, yet is only half a mile above Low Row. This splendid house is full of character and is recently refurbished to a high standard. With lovely new furniture set alongside beautiful antiques, including superb oak half tester and antique brass double beds in the two double bedrooms, and with large window seats in which to relax and admire the scenery, Moorlands is warm, welcoming and a delight to return to after a day exploring the surrounding hills and attractions.

Ground Floor: Entrance passageway, TV room with open fire and children’s toys/games, sitting room with logburning stove, CD player/radio, board games and books. Large well equipped farmhouse kitchen with dining table, logburning stove, dishwasher, microwave and radio. Dairy with extra fridge/freezer, small freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and iron/ironing board.

First Floor: Two double bedrooms, one with shaver point, washbasin and antique brass bed, the other with antique oak half tester bed. One family room with double bed and single bed. Large bathroom with shower over bath, basin, bidet, WC and shaver point. Second bathroom with shower over bath and shaver point Separate WC.

Outside: South-facing enclosed front garden overlooking pasture and hills. Flagged patio and lawned area with sandpit and garden furniture. Parking for up to 3 cars.
