Details: Mount Pleasant self catering cottages are situated in the heart of lovely rolling countryside, with superb views over the Vale of York. We are 3 miles from the market town of Richmond and just outside the peaceful village of Washton. The stone farmhouse was built in 1850 and still retains much of its original character. We now farm sheep and beef cattle, and offer warm hospitality and personal attention to all our guests.

The Parlour and The Dairy: are two beautifully converted self-contained cottages each with two bedrooms, one twin and one double (all bed linen provided), open plan lounge and dining room with three piece suite and colour TV, pine dining table and chairs. The kitchens are fully fitted with full size cooker, microwave, fridge, ample cupboards and work surfaces, crockery and utensils, and both cottages have a shower room fitted to the highest standard. To the front of the Dairy and Parlour are patio areas with furniture, lawns and wonderful views over open countryside. There is also ample parking space.

High Barn Cottage: for somewhere really special and for larger groups why not try our new luxury 5 star cottage. Set in its own grounds in a spectacular location with breathtaking, panoramic views. It offers three bedrooms, one double en-suite with King size bed and large fitted shower room, and two twin rooms, a family bathroom with bath and separate shower an open plan kitchen and a large lounge. High Barn Cottage has every luxury: Aga cooker, Digital TV (widescreen), Log Burning Stove, Dishwasher, Fridge, Freezer, Washing Machine & Granite Worktops to name a few!
