The recent refurbishment of the interior has resulted in dramatic individually styled bedrooms and a delightful breakfast room. Every finishing touch has been thought of – Wireless internet access, flat screen TV’s, trays in the bedrooms with a selection of teas, hot chocolate, freshly ground coffee, home made biscuits and bottled water, along with Molton Brown toiletries, Egyptian cotton linen, thick towels and luxurious bathrobes. The gardens and grounds are beautifully restored and home to colourful collections of rare breed hens, geese, ducks and spotted pigs. Breakfast: Were told our breakfasts are hard to beat, to make sure you have the perfect start to the day, we only use home grown or traditionally reared and locally sourced ingredients, organic where possible. Our home made preserves are legendary and the dry cured bacon and sausage from our traditional Saddleback and Old Spot pigs is the perfect accompaniment to the chocolate brown free range eggs, freshly laid for you by our hens that morning.Add some bread from the world famous Betty’s of Harrogate, a selection of fresh croissants, pastries, fruit, yoghurts, cereals and freshly squeezed juice and we’ll guarantee your all set for a breakfast to remember. Whether you are keen walkers, interested in Nature and history or just looking for a break away from it all. There is something here for everyone – whatever the season. As your hosts we are always happy to pass on our local knowledge and make recommendations to ensure you make the most of your visit.
