Details: Red Lion Cottage is situated in beautiful surroundings in the Teesdale village of Cotherstone close to the market town of Barnard Castle. The Cottage is furnished to a superb standard, with plenty of tradition but also all the comforts and convenience of home, with excellent finishing touches. It has 5 star accreditation with visitBritain.

The Red Lion Pub is adjacent and is a quiet and friendly pub which serves good quality food at weekends. The village also has another pub called the Fox and Hounds which is open 7 days a week serving food both lunch times and evenings. There is also a village shop, post office and newsagents. The river Tees is a five minute walk away, and there are many other walks accessible from the village where you can explore the superb Teesdale countryside, which is vast and unspoilt and features many stunning views. Accommodation
The cottage sleeps up to 8 people, centrally heated throughout there are 2 King size double bedrooms and 2 twin rooms. All bedding is made up with Egyptian cotton sheets and duvets. There are 2 bathrooms the main one having a spa bath, the 2nd bathroom has a walk-in shower. The kitchen is fitted to a high standard and includes: a range cooker, fridge freezer, dish washer, washer-dryer, coffee maker and more!

The lounge area has a gas burning stove, large TV screen with free view, DVD/CD player and a hard disk video recorder. DVD library, books and CD, s. Playstation console and games. Wireless broadband access and telephone are available. Outside and indoor BBQ.
