Details for Selside Outdoor Centre

The sleeping arrangements are similar to that of a youth hostel, with four rooms sleeping a total of 23 people. The centre is fully equipped with beds, common room facilities, drying room, central heating, shower facilities and a fully fitted kitchen designed for catering for large groups.

- Caving - Alum Pot is 10 minutes walk
- Rock climbing - Twistleton Scar is 15 minutes drive away
- Hill walking - located in the three peaks valley
- Canoeing/kayaking
- Mountain biking

Selside is available for bookings all year round.

The centre is situated three miles north of Horton-in-Ribblesdale in the Yorkshire Dales and it is ideally located for the Three Peaks of Yorkshire (Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough). The centre also sits on a wonderful example of a limestone pavement.

Dormitories
The sleeping arrangements are similar to that of a youth hostel, with four rooms sleeping 23 people. You will need to bring your own sleeping bags and pillows.

Kitchen
The kitchen is fully kitted out with pots, pans, plates etc, along with a large cooker, fridge, microwave and large toaster.

Drying Room
This useful facility for the drying of wet clothes contains two electric fan heaters and a three-speed extractor fan on the outside wall.

Heating
There is central heating throughout the building.
