Temple Farmhouse is a spacious traditional stone built house situated close to the village of Swinithwaite in unspoilt Wensleydale, the largest of the Yorkshire Dales. The property, which is built on the site of a former 11th century preceptory of the Knights Templar Order, contains many unusual and historic features.

Relax and enjoy traditional Yorkshire hospitality at its very best whilst exploring all that the Dales National Park has to offer. Temple Farmhouse is within easy walking distance of the village of Aysgarth, famous for it's spectacular falls and the 14th century Castle Bolton.

Accommodation: There are three good sized rooms, each with it's own exclusive bathroom, TV & Tea/ Coffee making facilities. The ground floor bedroom also has a special shower room which can accommodate a wheelchair. We welcome children and there is adequate off-road parking. A pick up service from nearby villages is also available for walkers and their luggage.

Rooms cost from £25 per person per night including a Full English Breakfast. There are reduced rates for children and stays of more than 2 nights.

We do not mind guests having picnics or barbeques in our large paddock & garden, but we ask guests not to smoke in the house.
