Details for The Black Swan

The Black Swan nestles in the Yorkshire Dales at Fearby, Nr Masham and offers a warm traditional welcome and with excellent bed & breakfast accommodation and fine ales and food in our bar/bistro. The public bar and majority of bed rooms overlook the Burn valley with 40 mile views of the Vale of York and local moors.

Fearby makes an excellent base to explore the Yorkshire Dales and surrounding area with walks and glorious countryside in abundance. There are plenty of quaint towns and villages to explore including; Masham, Leyburn, Ripon & Hawes. Both the Lake District and North York Moors National Parks are also within easy reach for that special day out.

Accommodation: Our guest rooms are particularly spacious with views over the Yorkshire Dales and the Vale of York. All our rooms have en-suite facilities, TV, free Wi-Fi, hairdryer, drinks making facilities and comfortable seating with coffee table.

Dining: Where possible we utilise local Yorkshire produce and our breakfast includes; cereal, fruit juice, tea, coffee, toast, bacon, sausages, egg, black pudding, mushrooms and baked beans.

The Bar is well stocked with Black Sheep and guest ales with a host of supporting lagers, bottle beers and soft drinks Home-cooked bar meals are served during lunchtime and our bistro is open Monday - Sunday and Wednesday to Monday evenings.
