Our atmospheric public bar, with its cosy ambience full of character, intimacy and charm, is an ideal rural retreat for visitors to the area. The old-fashioned flagstone floor and welcoming fire provide the perfect setting for a relaxing and friendly drink.

The White Swan makes a perfect base for a short break or extended stay, either to explore the truly breath-taking local scenery or simply chill out. Middleham is located in Wensleydale, one of the areas most beautiful dales. There are numerous activities and attractions on the doorstep including; Middleham, Richmond and Bolton castles, both Fountains and Jervaulx abbeys, and the spa towns of Ripon and Harrogate.

The décor is a blend of old and the new, retaining the traditional charm of this historic inn while incorporating the most up-to-date facilities.
