Details: Ideal for gatherings of family and friends, Wensleydale House accommodates up to ten guests. Situated in the thriving Dales market town of Leyburn, it makes an excellent base for exploring Wensleydale, with its delightful villages, castles, gardens, and walking for all abilities.

Accommodation: This charming (4 star rated) Victorian property has retained many original features, and all rooms have individually designed interiors. Two of the four bedrooms have four-poster beds and the front bedrooms have long distance views across Wensleydale.

Wensleydale House is well-equipped to cater for visitors of all ages throughout the year. It boasts three bathrooms (2 ensuite and 1 family) and a cloakroom/WC, a modern kitchen with range cooker, Lounge with dining area (well stocked with CDs, DVDs, toys and books), as well as having a Broadband connection. There is also an Ornamental garden & parking for four cars. A welcome tray with tea, coffee and cake is also provided on arrival. Two dogs accepted (by arrangement).

Local Area Swaledale and the Georgian market town of Richmond are both within 15-minutes drive of Leyburn. A five-minute walk from Wensleydale House brings you to Leyburn Shawl, with its breathtaking views and children's playground. The town is also home to Tennants auction house and still has its own independent cinema. Leyburn is easily accessible (only 20 minutes from the A1, and within 1 hour of York, Harrogate and Newcastle), making it an ideal base for relaxing breaks throughout the year
