York Lakeside Lodges offers you a real taste of the countryside, yet the centre of historic York is just two miles away! A bus service goes to the city centre every 10 minutes from the nearby Tesco superstore and the railway line runs behind the park.
You are within easy reach of York's main ring road, ideal for an outing to the seaside, moors or dales. The resident owners are at hand for friendly help and advice.
Excellent year round fishing is available for carp, bream, tench, roach and pike on the large 10 acre lake . Wireless Internet access available.
"With the beautiful surroundings, it was hard to believe York was just a few miles away. We all used the park and ride at Tesco to get into York because it was less than a five minute walk away, and hopping on a bus was the best way to get into the city centre. The cottage we stayed in was great and had plenty of space for seven adults. We would recommend this destination to anybody who wants to experience York."
