Caving Guided trips through Classic Cave Systems in the Yorkshire Dales.We strongly believe that your trip should be an enjoyable and special experience. We try to make our groups small and our trips exciting while keeping the safety of the group and individuals foremost. Our instructors are all local, qualified and very experienced cavers. They have a thorough knowledge of how weather conditions can affect the cave systems. Climbing and Abseiling We offer climbing and abseiling to groups, families or an individuals, and provide the excitement and vertical challenge of rock climbing and abseiling to suit all levels from "first timer" to "seasoned campaigner". The spectacular limestone cliffs found in the Yorkshire Dales provide excellent venues, and in the event of bad weather we can move to a nearby purpose-built climbing wall. All activities are closely supervised by our expert instructors and specialist equipment is provided as required, allowing you to enjoy the challenge and vertical adventure of climbing and abseiling safe in the knowledge that you are in good hands. Navigation Skills We offer Mid-week or Weekends "Open" courses for either individuals or groups. If there are 4 or more of you, we can also arrange dates to suit your group. • Learn to Navigate and Map Read • NON-RESIDENTIAL 2 DAY COURSES • Learn from scratch or develop your navigation skills • Practically based from start to finish. • Build up your confidence so you can explore beyond the well beaten tracks. • You really are never too old to learn. Guided walks in the Yorkshire Dales Three Peaks Here at Yorkshire Dales Guides we can arrange guided walks for a half a day, an evening, a full day or longer – you choose. Routes from Settle, Horton-in-Ribblesdale, Malham, Clapham, Ribblehead, Chapel-le-Dale, Kingsdale and many other locations are available. The routes can be low level with only some gentle climbing or there are routes which can include one or two of the Three Peaks. We can also provide assistance for the really adventurous and fit walkers who wish to try for all three! Our experienced Guides all live in the Dales and hold a current First Aid qualification. You will need to bring your walking kit and your guide will carry some group safety gear. Corporate Team Building Events We can bring together unique and challenging activities with the clear objectives and outcomes required by your company or organisations change management needs. Activities generally take place on private land in the Yorkshire Dales, which provides groups with some privacy and helps to reduce the possibility of self-consciousness by some individuals getting in the way of full team participation.
