There are dozens of towns and villages to visit during your stay in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, from Keld in the north, to Grassington in the south and Sedburgh to the west. They vary in size and content but all have a unique blend of individuality and beauty. Some are quaint and restful with idyllic country life where time stands still others are bustling with activity and ambience alive with markers and fairs, shops and attractions. Where ever you visit you will be welcomed by warm, friendly people keen to please and proud of their roots.
The towns and villages are set amongst a backdrop of spectacular scenery unspoilt by its many visitors and beautifully maintained and in some areas buildings have been lovingly restored to ensure all get the benefit there original beauty.
