The Yorkshire Dales boasts a selection of attractions to suit all tastes. There is a steam railway along with a cheese making factory of ‘Wallace and Grommet’ fame, plus picturesque waterfalls and numerous nature reserves. Visit a folk museum, castle, abbey or one of the numerous national park visitor centres. Families are made welcome in the Yorkshire Dales and children are catered for everywhere with opportunities to visit small pets and animal farms. Throughout the Yorkshire Dales there are towns and villages offering individual attractions, such as old curiosity shops, and beautiful and historic churches and buildings with original features from ancient times, cobbled streets, walled and gated with arches and some stunning architecture.
