Yorkshire is famous for its ‘Yorkshire Pudding’, which of course is anything but a desert. The regions culinary output doesn’t begin and end with its famous pud, there are many excellent eateries including: restaurants, pubs, bistros, wine bars, tea rooms and cafes. But don’t be fooled into thinking the Yorkshire folk stick only to their ‘meat and two veg’; you will also find a selection of different culinary offerings including, Chinese, Indian, French, Italian and more.
Yorkshire is also famous world wide for its beer, always served with a full, creamy, frothy head, and there are plenty of traditional Yorkshire pubs in the region offering a wide selection of refreshing beers, lagers and ales. Famous Yorkshire beer includes Black Sheep & Theakstons both brewed locally in the Yorkshire Dales; while a selection of locally brewed ‘real ales’ is also available.
