Yorkshire Dales Food and Drink Guide
Perhaps the most famous of Yorkshire foods is the ‘Yorkshire Pudding' which of course (for our less familiar friends), is something served with meat and vegetables, as part of a traditional Sunday roast and not as a dessert as the name may suggest. It is recommend that anyone visiting the area to make time for a Sunday Roast in one of the many traditional Yorkshire pubs which populate the many towns and villages. Visitors will also find many other excellent places to eat and drink: restaurants, bistros, wine bars, tea rooms and cafes. You will also find a range of different multicultural eateries to tempt you including, Indian, Chinese, Italian, French, and more.
Yorkshire is also world famous for its real ales and beer, and there are numerous traditional pubs offering a superb range of refreshing ales, beers and lagers, including Black Sheep & Theakstons both brewed locally in the Masham.
