Harrogate in bloom

Harrogate

Harrogate is not short of locations for food and drink, with a whole array of eateries available to tempt your taste buds and threaten your waistline, both in and around the beautiful town centre, and scattered in the suburbs and the outlying villages.

‘Bettys’ is a still functioning tea room, opened in the 1920s which combines Swiss and Yorkshire traditions. Frederick Belmont was a Swiss cake and sweet maker who went on to merge with Taylors of Harrogate, a Yorkshire tea blender and supplier. ‘Bettys’ was the result of this partnership.

You just cannot visit Harrogate without a trip to 'Bettys'.
