Middleham is a picturesque medieval town with ruins of the imposing Middleham Castle overlooking the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. This thriving little town is home to the north's leading race horse training centre and attracts race goers from all over the world. The town has some beautiful shops with handcrafted gifts, quaint tea rooms and a number of pubs. 

There are many places of local interest in and around Middleham. The Wensleydale Railway is an enjoyable 50 minute ride through the Yorkshire Dales. The Forbidden Corner, in Tupgill Park, is a series of underground passages and pathways, with grotto's to explore, situated in four acres of green space, there is also a Deer Park and Herb Garden.
