Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust Seeks Ideas
A charity is seeking people's ideas to help it secure up to £2m to fund a new conservation programme. The Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust (YDMT) is developing a landscape and heritage bid for the south west area of the national park. Dave Tayler, Deputy Director for the trust said it was essential that the local community got involved. The charity said it is seeking to submit a first stage outline bid to the Heritage Lottery Fund before February. It is hoped the conversation programme will bring environmental benefits to the area, as well as the local economy.
