Fifty Beers at the Wharfedale Beer Festival!

This year's Wharfedale Beer Festival takes place on the 6th and 7th November 2015 at Grassington Hall, Grassington and has over fifty beers to tempt you with interesting names such as 'Squiffy Sheep' and 'Pommies Revenge'.

If you don't like beer, there is Ciders for the tasting of as well as Lagers, Gins, Wines, however there is one distinct difference at this festival bar and that is how you actually pay for your tipple.  No cash is accepted and no its not on a credit card either, it's with tokens, which you obtain on the purchase of your ticket which includes free tokens up to the value £10.  Additional tokens can also be purchased at the price of £1.50 per token which will purchase you a half glass of a tasty brew.

To compliment your drink you can visit the pie and pastry counter which is being supplied by Grassington butcher H Weatherhead & Sons.  A delicious sausage roll, pork pie or pasty can be yours for one token.

Everything has been thought of to make this Festival a success and that includes putting on a return bus service from either Skipton or Ilkley train station for just £5.

Entertainment comes in the shape of live bands on Friday and Saturday night, Friday Night is Refriend Radio, a good rock covers band well known on the festival scene and Saturday has Coco and the Butterfields a rousing folk rock band.

A great weekend is promised at Wharfedale Beer Festival so make sure you are there!
