Full Description: Bentham is pleasantly located on the banks of the River Wenning amongst woodland and meadows, and close to both the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District National Parks. Ingleton, with its well known caves and waterfalls is only 3 miles away, and the historic market town of Kirby Lonsdale is just seven miles away. Ingleborough, Whernside and Per-y-ghent; the ‘Three Peaks’ are very close by.

Ingleton is served by the Morecombe to Leeds railway making getting to and from the area very convenient.

To the north are the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park and lying just to the south is the rolling countryside of the Forest of Bowland. With the three peaks also close by, Bentham really is a splendid location from which to explore the area including cycling, touring, walking or pony trekking holidays or short breaks.
