Bradford City Angling Association offers numerous venues for fly and course fishing throughout the Yorkshire Dales, North Yorkshire and Lancashire. Based in Bradford itself the association has many rivers, ponds and lakes which are well stocked with a wide variety of fish, and where members can spend a totally relaxing day or two or even a full holiday enjoying their sport. If you prefer match fishing on a well stocked lake or the solitude of fly fishing on a quiet river and maybe bagging a sea trout or two there is something to suit everyone with Bradford City Angling. For anglers wishing to try their hand at fly fishing there is a beginner's day course on offer for novice fly fishermen at Gargrave on the River Aire, with hands on tuition and hints and tips on equipment and technique from an expert.

Some of the venues are within easy reach and are just a short drive from Bradford where there is also an excellent transport service offering access by bus for non drivers. There are some stunning venues to try throughout the Yorkshire Dales, including rivers in Wharfedale, Wensleydale and Airedale. The full annual membership opens up some of the best fishing sites in the country whatever your preferences. Day and weekly permits are offered for both the River Wharfe and Buckden. Guest tickets are also available.
