Craven Sailing Club in Skipton has everything for sailors of all ages and abilities. A full range of expertly instructed courses are on offer and there is the chance to try out a wide selection of crafts. Regular events and fun days are organised at the club.

The club is based near Skipton in North Yorkshire and has everything for sailors of all ages and abilities. The 27 acres of water provides a great environment for learning to sail as well as demanding but enjoyable racing.

It may not be like a life on the ocean wave but life on the water is exhilarating, it's a different world on the water with many of nature's wildlife having their habitat on the water, you will see birds and insects you won't see in down town suburbia. If you want a break from sailing then a walk around the reservoir will see plenty of wildlife and then back at the c lubhouse you can have a refreshing hot drink.

The club welcomes sailors of all ages and abilities, expert or beginner, and has a wide variety of dinghies in the fleet including, single handers small & large, crewed dinghies some with trapeze and assymetrics, together with windsurfers, canoeists and kayakers.

There are plenty of opportunities to race in the handicap fleet on Tuesdays and Sundays or take place in one (or all!) of the club training events. The rest of the time the water is available for general sailing & boating activities including organised and informal training and family fun events throughout the year.
