A visit to Grassington National Park Centre is a great way to spend a day and learn about the fascinating history of farming and the local area. There is an abundance of information and lots of interactive things to see and do. There is also a cafe and gift shop.
Grassington National Park brings a touch of nostalgia to this farming area.
Grassington National Park Centre (Southern office for the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority), located in the main National Park near the busy village centre, is home to a range of interpretive displays which bring local industry, farming and tourism, both past and present, to life. The Yorkshire Dales National Park Visitor Centre, with gift shop and café, provides plenty of information about the area.
Opening times:
Summer: 10am to 5pm, seven days a week (1 April to 31 October).
Winter: 10am to 4pm on certain days of the week (1 November to 31 March).
Please check the opening hours with each National Park Centre before visiting as times may vary. All National Park Centres are closed in January following the Christmas holiday period.
