Intrepid Pursuits offers a great range of outdoor activities, under expert supervision. All the courses are tailored to suit individual needs, ages and abilities and aim to include all the fun and excitement you can handle!
Intrepid Pursuits was founded to enable people from all walks of life to have the opportunity to do something adventurous.

All of our courses are based on three principles: Adventure, Safety and Learning.
Adventure
All courses will contain an element of adventure and risk. Our staff will guide you through the activity allowing you to experience the full adventure and develop your own experiences to draw from in the future.
Safety
Safety is paramount in any Intrepid Pursuits course. Our experienced instructors will again guide you through the activity in the safest way possible. We aim for you to learn about safety as you go, in a controlled manner.
Learning
Our biggest aim is that you will learn the skills needed to go out and have adventures for yourselves. Therefore everything you do while on a course with us will be based around your needs, decisions and actions.
By putting these principles together with our substantial experience you are in for a demanding course, custom made to develop you as adventurers and instructors of the future.

Rock Climbing
Intrepid Pursuits rock climbing courses are second to none, based around our 3 underlying principles, Adventure - Safety - Learning. We offer courses suited to all abilities.
Hill Walking
Let us take you to some of the most amazing places in the UK. Our staff know the mountains inside out and are keen for you to discover them too. We offer a range of courses designed to accommodate your needs and once again, as with all our courses, if you're after something specific then contact us and we will build a course for you.
Group Adventure Days
Our adventure days offer organised groups the chance to take part in something truly brilliant. Whether you want to focus on team building, social inclusion, basic life skills or even just have some fun, one of our adventure days will tick all the boxes. Our adventure days are suitable for any age (as long as you can fit in the safety equipment) and are ideal activities for school trips, youth clubs, corporate events, birthday parties and stag/hen parties.
Scrambling
Our scrambling courses are the perfect way to see parts of the mountains you may normally never get to. You will also learn the skills to go off and have many more scrambling adventures of your own. As with all Intrepid courses you will be guided by one of our experienced leaders whose aim is for you to develop the skills needed to go it alone.
Private Guiding Services
We understand that some people will not feel comfortable sharing their first and possibly quite exhilarating experiences with a large group of strangers. Other people may just want the complete one:one attention that private guiding provides.
Coming Soon:
We are currently developing a range of new courses to include caving, kayaking and canoeing courses.
Also being developed are European trips to include Alpine walking holidays and via farata adventures.

Nationally Acreditied Training and Assessment Schemes
Intrepid Pursuits can also offer training and assessment courses governed by National Bodies such as the MLTE.
