Full Description: Jubilee Lakes Fly Fishery, situated in Co Durham and just north of the Yorkshire border, close to the Yorkshire Dales, and has been owned by Dave & Sandra Hayman since 1988.

This superb, small, friendly fishery is known for quality; quality trout, quality fishing and quality facilities. A Troutmasters water stocked with rainbows from 3lb upwards - the present record being 25lb 14oz.

If you're the kind of angler who enjoys the challenge of deceiving the trout into taking their fly, who enjoys the company of fellow anglers and who appreciates peaceful and pleasant surroundings then this is the fishery for you.

Facilities: The excellent facilities include a heated anglers cabin & toilet and also the Anglers' Lodge Tackle Shop.

Tackle Shop: The tackle shop is very popular and stocks all the best ranges - Sage, Hardy, Loomis & many more, and also stocks an excellent range for the fly tyer. If you can't visit in person, mail order is available via www.anglers-lodge.co.uk

Opening Times: Jubilee is open Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday & most bank holiday Mondays. The fishery has an excellent web site, and it is wise to go to the site to check opening dates, rules & prices and to get a map & directions for the fishery. It is also wise to phone and book in before setting out. A good answerphone service operates while the fishery is closed.
