The Yorkshire Dales is known throughout the world as a place of outstanding beauty but have you heard of Parcevall Hall and Gardens which sits in the stunning valley of Wharfedale?

With 24 acres of woodlands and walks, you will come across many interesting features such as a limestone rock garden and a rose garden where you can sit and breathe in the scents, many of the plants are from Western China, it really is a remarkable garden and it's open for you to enjoy

Sir William Milner is the man you have to thank for this garden of outstanding beauty, when in 1927 he decided to rebuild the derelict shell of Parcevall Hall which is near Applewick. Sir William lived in the Hall for another 30 years and tended the gardens and growing them into what we have today. Terraces are at places where the view is at its best, and you will stand awhile taking it all in.

Sadly after Sir William died the gardens lay neglected until the mid-eighties when a restoration programme lovingly restored the grounds and you could also be treading in the footsteps of the famous, the Gardens have played host to some television series such as The Hairy Bikers and The Dales.

The Tea Room can be found at the entrance to the Garden where you can sit out enjoy the views that surround you whilst enjoying anything from a sandwich to a proper meal, everything is home cooked and the produce is the best.

Come for a relaxing day at Parcevall Hall Gardens and just drink in...
