Raygill Fishing Lakes is located in Lothersdale just to the south of the Yorkshire Dales, and offering four beautiful well-stocked lakes full of Coarse, Rainbow Trout and Pike. Open every day, 8am to dusk. 

Lothersdale is 15 minutes from Skipton, Colne and Keighley and it is in the lovely village of Lothersdale you will find Raygill Fishing Lakes which consists of four Lakes with Trout, Coarse and Pike for you to attempt to catch.

Set in one of the most beautiful areas in the countryside, park your car up in one of the many car parking spaces available and get out and enjoy the landscape.

Raygill has been many things in its time, it started life as a Quarry and many types of bone were found and it became a famous geological site as the remains of Bison and Straight Tusked Elephants were found there.

Mining had stopped in the seventies and in the mid- eighties it was discovered to be the perfect location for rearing fish and three manmade lakes were added.

With flora and fauna, wildlife have made Raygill its home and you don't have to be a fisherman to enjoy the stunning grounds and walks you can partake in. The children to have their very own animal hunt, they will be given fun sheets and given quizzes to keep them entertained, they might help fancy helping the caveman hunt down his prey, you will have to put up with the sad face when you say it's time to go home.

But before you do; stop at the Lakeside Café and have a tasty bacon butty or buy some homemade cake to take home with you.
