Details for The Station Shopping Centre

The unique Station Shopping Centre in Richmond is a wonderful place to visit whilst in North Yorkshire. The collection of shops, independent cafes and eateries join with two cinemas to create an all round entertainment venue for that full day out.
With two cinema screens, a cafe-restaurant, art gallery, heritage centre and six artisan food-makers on the premises, The Station is a great place to start your visit to Richmond, Britain's Great Town of the Year 2009.
We have rooms and spaces for seminars, meetings and exhibits. AV and wi-fi are included, and there's great on-site catering.
Richmond station was opened in 1846. Passenger services ceased in 1968. In 2003, after a chequered history, the building was taken over by the newly formed Richmondshire Building Preservation Trust, with the aim of restoring it to its future splendour and making it once again a focal point of the local community.
Conference Facilities
The Station is a destination of choice for event organisers, with rooms and spaces for seminars, private dinners, trade exhibits, and small meetings. There's free wi-fi Internet, of course; there are data-projectors and screens; and our friendly staff are on hand if you need additional services like photocopying or printing.
If you're running a demanding event, you'll find our on-site catering second to none. When your delegates are gasping for a cup of freshly-made coffee, or if they need a tray of freshly-made sandwiches (with bread baked on the premises), or a more substantial lunch using delicious produce from Swaledale and around, they'll find that Seasons Restaurant redefines conference catering.
