Full Description: There are five National Park Centres located within the Yorkshire Dales. As well as being National Park Centre’s they also offer tourist information and a wide range of other services including accommodation booking, book, map and souvenir sales. Weather reports for the surrounding area are alsoavailable

Aysgarth Falls National Park Centre
Aysgarth Falls National Park Centre can be found on the east side of Aysgarth village in Lower Wensleydale just off the A684. The centre is situated in a converted railway cottage surrounded by ancient woodland. Inside the centre you can find out about how Aysgarth Falls were formed and here the story of Freeholders Wood. There is café inside the centre which is run by a local operator.

Grassington National Park Centre
Grassington National Park Centre is located in the busy village centre it can be accessed from the main National Park car park. Inside you will find a variety of displays on past and present life, tourism and farming.

Hawes National Park Centre
The National Park Centre in Hawes can be found in the Dales Countryside Museum on the east side of Hawes. This is a purpose-built centre which contains information on the local area and local crafts. It also provides community, conference and educational facilities.

Malham National Park Centre
If you enter Malham from the south the Malham National Park Centre can be found on your way in. Inside Malham National Park Centre you can here about the creation of the breathtaking Malham Cove which is illustrated though interactive displays. Educational walks and talks for school groups are run from the centre.

Reeth National Park Centre
This National Park Centre is situated in Hudson House at the top of the village green. There are displays about the lead mining industry and what remains in the area today, as well as the unique heather moorland in Swaledale.
