Full Description: Trekking, trail riding and riding tuition for all levels of riding from complete beginners to experienced riders.

Yorkshire Dales Trekking Centre is a friendly, family run business. It is a successful and developing centre within the peaceful and idyllic Yorkshire Dales National Park, North Yorkshire The beautiful village location boasts adequate services all within very easy walking distance. More importantly it also has quick, safe access to a variety of riding terrain and bridleway networks around Malhamdale and stretching to other Dales providing short and long distance circular trek routes.

Yorkshire Dales Trekking Centre breeds and trains its own Dales ponies for trekking and trail riding for all riders of 8 years and upwards. These remarkable, adaptable Dales ponies ensure everyone has a fun but safe ride. Treks and trails will take in meadowland, moor land, old drovers roads, green lanes, stony tracks, woodland, crossing numerous fords, limestone pavements with some wonderful grassy canter/gallop tracks.

As well as pony trekking we also do horse riding holidays where we journey through the Dales staying overnight on route. There are many established and well known routes at our disposal and in particular the Settle Loop Bridleway.

Horse and Pony Accommodation

We also are a horse B&B centre for people riding the dales on their own horses, and our facilities are available for a stop over.
